Of course, our customers already know what Repuserve can do to help you rebuild your reputation and start afresh online. But now, national newspapers are picking up on the story of our incredible service as well.

Yesterday, journalist Maisha Frost, the business and consumer watchdog at the Daily and Sunday Express, published an article in the Daily Express, bringing the hard work of our team a much-deserved turn in the spotlight.

Speaking to founder Jeevan Mann, Frost delved into his personal reasons for wanting to help those who have suffered due to damaging content online. After witnessing the trauma of a relative who had been falsely accused, Mann explained, he decided to launch the start-up, which is on track to turnover £2 million in 2025.

Frost explained how the small start-up has quickly grown into a vital service which has the capacity for hundreds of new clients each month. Exercising the Right to be Forgotten, she says, can become something of a “David and Goliath” endeavour, with ordinary people struggling to navigate the necessary legal framework. But thanks to Repuserve, anyone can protect themselves from the negative elements of life online.

“Our service navigates legal guidelines, understands search engine algorithms and creates long-term strategies as a way of addressing imbalances,” Mann said. “That way we not only provide legal assistance, but also peace of mind and emotional respite.”

In the article, Mann added that his experience as part of the Miscarriage of Justice programme at Swansea University inspired him to create positive change for his clients, and to help victims work towards a successful future.

The article also explored Mann’s hopes for the future, as the Repuserve team seek an ‘angel investor’ to help them expand their business into the EU as well as places such as Australia, where Right to be Forgotten legislation is likely to be enacted soon. Finally, Frost also acknowledged the role that emerging tech such as AI and deep fakes are likely to play in the online privacy debate, and turned to Repuserve for some reassurance.

Mann replied, “Given the rapid digital transformation of the corporate landscape, we are squaring up to the threats and, by setting realistic goals, we foster trust and long-lasting relationships so people can get back both their lives and their livelihoods.”
